If the evaporator in the ice machine is bad, how to judge, how to go well troubleshooting?

Two common faults of the evaporator:

   1, evaporating pressure is high 

   2, evaporative pressure is too low

(1), the evaporating temperature is low, but the condensing temperature is normal

  Reasons and troubleshooting methods:

   (1) evaporator heat transfer tube dirt or part of the tube blockage

  Solution: cleaning or repair of blocked tubes

  (2) The refrigerant is not line or dirty

  Solution: replace the refrigerant

  3、Low temperature of carrier refrigerant (cold water) outlet

 

Causes and elimination methods:

  (1) The limit value of outlet temperature on the refrigerant temperature regulator is too low

  Solution: adjust the refrigerant outlet temperature

  (2) Refrigeration capacity is greater than the external heat load

  Solution: Check the position of the guide vane and whether the operation is normal.

  Evaporation pressure is high phenomenon, causes, elimination methods

  1、Refrigerant outlet temperature is high

 

Causes and troubleshooting methods:

  (1) The inlet guide leaf jammed, can not be opened

  Solution: overhaul the guide vane drive mechanism

  2）Cooling capacity is less than the external heat load

  Solution: Check the position of the guide vane and whether the operation is normal.

  (3) import guide leaf automatic and manual are out of order

  Solution: overhaul the guide vane actuator

  (4) Carrier refrigerant outlet temperature setting is too high

  Solution: Adjust the setting value

2, evaporation temperature and refrigerant outlet temperature difference increases, the compressor inlet superheat increases the condensing temperature is too high.

  Causes and elimination methods:

  (1) insufficient refrigerant charging

  Solution: add refrigerant

  (2) evaporator leakage into the carrier refrigerant  

  (3) evaporator water chamber short circuit

  (4) float valve failure, the refrigerant can not flow into the evaporator

  Solution to the above three failures: repair the float valve plugged pipe or pipe replacement and maintenance of the water chamber

  (5) the refrigerant pump suction port has air mixed in to participate in the cycle

  Solution: overhaul the refrigerant pump

  6）Refrigerant leakage in the unit

  Solution: Leakage check of the unit
